Social distancing can be a real change of pace for some people and learning to adapt may be a challenge.

Get productive with your time. Put pen to paper as a first step and write down what you want to accomplish, be it writing a short story or novel, experimenting with painting or what ever your passion is. Time to yourself is an excellent opportunity to explore what you are good at and want to pursue.

Catching up on reading is never a bad idea as it stimulates your mind. Waiting out this pandemic by watching television all day isn't a productive use of time no matter how tempting.

Stay connected throughout the isolation by utilizing video chat and social media.

Establishments may be closing but that doesn't mean you can't still socialize. It's 2020 and we have the means to communicate in real time in a number of ways. Skype https://www.skype.com/en/ or FaceTime are great ways to chat face to face.

Why not make the best of a bad situation. Starting a small business in Canada is easier than you would think, especially as a sole proprietor. This time we are currently afforded can be used productively by securing yourself some assets online. You can start selling online fairly cost effectively with a site like Shopify https://www.shopify.ca/.

Remember this situation is temporary and society will return to normal once it is safe to do so.
